Clocks on cocks (Part 1)

What could be more period authentic than the correct bracelet on the watch?

It’s horrid.

To be fair you have never been known for your taste. :grinning:

The 1479 came in in 1989

According to this website the serial number of my watch is from 1990,

Ah sure you said 1985. And usually with that script its an early 80s watch. the later ones have a different R.

I was just teasing, its not like Omega had any consistency.

If you look at the left hand list for Omega serial numbers excluding Speedmaster then it comes out as 1985, but the speedmaster list says 1990.
I think I may have been looking at the wrong list when I said 1985,
From what I have read about the strap and the bezel 1990 makes more sense

Pinched from elsewhere for all you Nato haters, an alternative way of wearing it

Looks a lot better to me

It moves all the hardware underneath and the watch lies flatter on the wrist

That is a lot better.

Its all the fucking shit and loops on top of the wrist that makes them look so utterly fucking gopping.

Definitely looks better. I take it that it still functions as intended? (I can’t be bothered to think).

It effectively makes it a single pass strap.
So failure of one springbar means the watch is retained
