For some unknown reason I’m being drawn to that blingy middle one haha. The case is actually really nice but the whole thing is just too shiny for me.
Nice, I didn’t see that one.
Breitling knock-off makes me sad
yeah it’s like a Super ocean heritage and a yachmaster took some experimental CIA drugs, had ill advised sex and 9 month late produced a special child.
Fixt.
All watches look like other watches to some extent, that’s how we know they’re watches.
Except Ulysse Nardin, they look like a robot-dog’s vomited into a stainless steel bowl.
The case on that is what they made for other makers in the 60s or 70s as far as I know, such as Blancpain.
Case design by Charles von Büren, founder of Squale. Maybe the bezel gives it a certain look but who cares.
It’s so blatant and yet so poor. Its awful, just awful
So very nearly bought a super-ocean (on a different strap) when I bought the Zenith. It’s probably my favourite diver.
I think that’s the best looking UN I’ve seen.
The UN is gorgeous, one of the nicest watches I’ve seen. The Breitling, on the other hand, looks like any one of a 1000 of Sodders posts.
I do like that UN, but then I liked the one Ed Harris wore in Phantom, it was deffo a dinner plate.
Don’t know how historically accurate it is, were 60’s Soviet sub commanders issued gold UNs? Did that watch even exist then? Could he have afforded to buy it as a personal watch on a sub commanders salary?
Buttoned down bezel?

For fear of being told off about using harsh language in this thread, I shall tone down my reaction.

Only £7500 of your lovely pounds!
On fugly per square mm terms that is decent value. On any other grounds…
