I tend to wear the Longines Flagship may father left to me. I don’t really know how old it is but he said he bought it in the late 1950’s. In the course of trying to find something out about it I cam across this which I quite like for reasons that escape me:
I don’t know when I would use a tachymetre and would prefer a steel case. It appears to be 38mm so would suit my twiglet wrists…
The steel case is much nicer IMHO:

Yes, steel case is right up my strasse 
I paid £45 for the last one, £50 for the other. A basic, tatty Rolex Sub is £5,500 nowadays. That’s a mental-illness quantity of homages… even for me.
