Maybe you get a different kind of fun if a certain type of woman spots you wearing one.

Long way O/T - but the point is fun.
Fun is subjective. Fun is not a game of Top Trumps, where the biggest numbers Win.
992 is the width of a small lorry (not even joking), mid-engined, nanny-ed by literally hundreds of electronic protocols (only some of which can be overridden) which flatter the fat, old, white male in the steering seat.
964 is what happens when a VW Beetle evolves for aeons on a remote Island, untroubled by predators. It looks like god himself gave up on it, it is as wide as a pushbike, it has hatred in its heart and one mission only: to kill you. Your job is to stop that happening by means of prayer, luck and a tiny dab of skill.
Sure, the almost-30-years-newer redesigned-from-the-ground-up factory-approved-homage-to-the-911 is faster - whodathunkit? But at the end of the day, the safest, most-conformist choice of supercar is now the safest, most golf-club-friendly bloatster ever, too. They probably offer a tow hook option for your caravan.
When one finally has the inevitable heart-attack in oneâs car, the 992 will be because your heart finally lost the will to live; the 964 will be because you are upside down, flying backwards through the air towards a 500m drop on an Alpine overpass at >100mph. With an erection.
And if wearing a Rolex at the time youâll have an accurate time of death
Want salt and vinegar for that shoulder?

Yawn ![]()
Fucking luddite.
what a load of bollocks
Fucking luddite.
As charged, ossifer.
Also, devilâs advocate. If I wanted a Porsche badly-enough, itâd be a 987 Cayman. Not too scary, not too safe.
Erryoneâs fun is different.
Mmmmm. Car similes.

Fixt
Dom set mine to be reasonably accurate. Not quartz accurate, but fairly accurate.
I like my Rolex. I liked my old air cooled Porsche. Wish I hadnât sold it. I quite like the Alfa now. It probably wonât go around the 'ring that fast, but as I donât give the slightest fuck about that I am reasonably happy. Happy is nice.
Iâve got a '71 Red Sub - nice to look at yes, accurate it is not.
How far out is it? My '98 Explorer II is about a second a day.
As in 1971? I suspect +_ 2 sec accuracy from a 71 watch would be a push.

Oi, cunts, fuck off to the car section if youâre going to discuss cars the only acceptable pork in this thread is something like this:
It has never been more than 3 seconds.
It has never been more than 3 seconds.
âŚonly exaggerated by a factor of 3 then ![]()

Yep 1971 Rolex 1680. About 3-5 seconds per day is about the best it runs.
Since Dom serviced it it is about 1 second.
Has JB hacked your account?
