CNC or 3D print all the things

Is that a 12” woofer Ed?

10", http://www.precision-devices.com/Product-Details/PD107

Nice.

Where do you roll that in Ed?

Anything between 150hz and 300hz works fine, I use dsp so can account for the roll off and can use steep slopes. Horn comes in around 1.3khz, where the directivity of the mid and horn line up, nice and smooth off axis.

Essentially dinosaur squeezings

New toy picked up today 6040 CNC with bespoke built in control system.
Having fun reading the manual and getting to grips with controller. First impressions are it could be a good machine.

@crimsondonkey’s amplifiers came back for a check over due to some buzzing. While I had them back I had the panels repainted and made up some badges.

Nice

The CNC is alive!
Worked out how the control system works and cut a few test programs to see how it works, next job Velvet Vortex parts.

Very quiet on my 100db speakers, so fingers crossed.

Excellent. Talk of horns possibly being moved to lounge

Talk of respray?

The used to be blue fronts with black top,

But not very well, just used a rattle can.

Now they have been sprayed with decent 2k primer and metallic with a clear coat then machine polished.

I thought that ended with you saying they sounded shit in there.
