Cocks on clocks (Part the Second)

Irrelevance overtopped by irrelevance producing Top Trumps ticktocks too monstrous to wear… {yawn}

Putting all of this nonsense into context; the original deep divers as actually used by saturation divers of the day were qualified to 600m (typical dive depths were 100 to 150m), built like brick shit houses, robust, easily serviceable and simple to use.

Context? WTF have any of these dive watches got to do with actual diving?

Who in their right mind is going to go diving in a £5-20k watch.

No one today, they are all desk divers. Back in the day however, spending twice the price of a contemporary Submariner on a professional divers watch (Seamaster 600m ploprof) is what you did.

I’m not happy until one of them designs a combi dive slash space watch they go so deep with it goes into space and onto the Andromeda galaxy

Or at least a lava-dweller

Toilet dweller.

Had anyone actually designed a watch to go into space yet?

Forgot about that one, standard speedy in a thermal case. Interesting history. Rather like it, prototype, without the thermal case though😁
