Cocks on clocks (Part the Second)

I am looking for a decent single watch travel case and have been looking at Wolf and other stuff that comes up from internet searches but really haven’t a clue.

Any recommendations? Or has anyone got one they want to sell?

I got this a while back as it’s leather (sumptuous ultra suede aside) and its daft price.
And still at the same price.

If you want proper protection just get a tiny pelican type case and cut out the foam.

That Wolf is a really good deal Steve,
Unfortunately not available online and the nearest store is 90 minutes drive away.
But if you recommend that model I can start searching elsewhere.

There is one in Peterboruogh.
Maybe Edd could collect for you, and bring it to Jim’s?

No worries I wouldn’t want to trouble Edd.
I will give the web a search later.
Thanks for volunteering him though :grinning:

Ooh! My specialist subject!

Realistically the only one that’s any good is the one that looks like the Wolf (bottom right), and that came with the Ingenieur.

But do you want one of the others? As I said, not as nice as the Wolf, but free.

I swear I have about four of top-left because it’s an IWC service case, but I can only find one at the moment.

Thought it was odd it was still available at that price.
I just have a thing for leather, but it’s slightly irrelevant as long as it’s not going to fall apart.
I have also a cheap black zip case from Amazon that’s a lot more discreet and works just as well.

I think this one is the same as the one Steve mentioned and only a few quid more than the Beaverbrook deal.
I think I will go for that

Thanks Guy,
Very generous as always but I think I have found one (see above)

This.
Though they are generic and sometimes a bit cheaper. Good beach option for a cheaper watch.

My personal favourite (FWLIW) is the below, which is like a ‘pleather’ cigar case with a sliding cover - very strong and very slim, so easy to pack discretely:

Came from ebay, fwiw.

Definitely. The free ones are worth every penny you pay.

A friend bought one of those for his Dad when Zenith were having some sort of weird inventory dump and selling them at ridiculous discounts.

I remember they were so cheap I was going to buy one for giggles but for some reason never got around to it.

Spotted this brand in Canterbury today

This one drew my attention

Seem decent value @ £215

With a brand name like that you would expect them to have inflated prices.

It’s super tempting.

Anyone one to buy a moonwatch?

Aren’t you supposed to be buying loudspeakers?
