Strangely it’s worked perfectly since our return to the UK

Some stuff came for a visit.

Man with one mechanical watch knows the time, man with more than one mechanical watch is never sure.

Man has quartz watch to keep track of actual time

These things are shiny trinkets.

Wisdom.

Christopher Ward documentary. Well worth a look if you have the time.

Have to say I love the look of the new C12 ‘Loco’ - pricey, but a lot of watchmaking for the asking…

[less divisive colours are available…]

Is this technical Swiss language?

Lack of proofreading/blinded by the Tangosity of it all :orange_heart:

The whole documentary (if you haven’t watched it) is based around the Loco launch. The pricing becomes far more tolerable when you see what goes into it. If one of the big brands were making this you would almost certainly be into 5 figures.

Yep, I think it’s great what they’re achieving - the Bel Canto was a similarly very high value bit of watchmaking at a relatively sane price :ok_hand:

It’s a funky thing.

That is very, very nice!

After 4 or more years I have finally worn a mechanical watch again :upside_down_face:

I have worn a smart watch for that time and I guess I was rather watch fatigued for a bit too.
But thought I would fear this and if I keep it on for a while will either get rid of the smart watch or go for a headless/screenless one like the whoop.

I blame @Kevin and @coco for having so many nice watches at the little MEH listen the other week.

Just back from Christopher Wards HQ in Maidenhead for their Loco watch launch. A real nice bunch of people working there and the Loco was very nice in the metal. Would have to be the black face for me but the Orange was very nice. Even better on a bracelet.

No pushy sales so I escaped without putting my name down on the list. But it is very tempting. A lot of design innovation for the money and who wouldn’t want a 6 day power reserve.

Next to the Bel Canto

Great pics Nick - looks even better in these than the overly-perfect publicity shots. Black for me for blind-old-cunt reasons, tho’ I’d go strap - never a fan of bracelets. Great looking watch all told :+1:
