Got to do something to sell stuff these days.
You Tubers are becoming a bigger force, Teddy Baldassarre did a colab with Brew and Nico Leonard did one with Maen.
I expect more of the smaller brands will do the same.
No real difference from Omega doing yet another 007 limited edition.
I really like the watch, and if ÂŁ2K was the trivial sum that it is for some, Iâd probably buy one - I think itâs the best diver theyâve done yet
I like the Christopher Ward case since it doesnât restrict my clothes as much as most in winter.
OTOH I am completely at a loss as to why âdiversâ are so popular maybe people like to appear more sporty than they are (not much chance for me) and whilst I like a robust watch I like the smallest bezel possible. I got a Christopher Ward trident and whilst it does have a bigger bezel than I prefer it isnât typical diver watch, doesnât have a dig-in deployant buckle and it is probably the most comfortable watch I own - certainly one of, anyway. The original size Reverso probably beats it.
I like the utilitarian functions and looks of divers, chiefly the legibility of the hands and dial, and the ability to time certain activities like dogwalks. The reliable waterproofness has often proved welcome. I, too, am no Bear Grylls.
I dislike the egregiously fat cases of most of them - literally no-one needs depth ratings above 100m (which generally translates in the real world as âcan be worn in the showerâ). Display backs are a bad joke in such a watch, and, as-ever, the wrist-clock sizes are proving slow to die.
