Computer games and that

It is indeed kings cross, game year is 1920 and it has limited train options out of the box. I have added a load of mods though.

I’ve been playing Disco Elysium on the Switch. Still not entirely sure I understand what I’m doing, but it’s been making me laugh.

Yes its a good game with a wry sense of humour.

Does the option to run away from Garte without paying always appear? I failed the roll, tried to flip him off with both arms while running, tripped and had a heart attack.

Thats much better. A nice Ivatt Atlantic.

If you have time on your hands I have a BA2018 board that needs a PSU and case etc.

I do, I have a Whammy and an F6 to build (waiting on the parts), open to commissions after those are done.

Sounds good :+1:

I’ve got that. Proper barmy.

Sort of Douglas Adams crossed with Monkey Island with a large dollop of Philip K Dick.

I’m considering getting a Switch (probably OLED) but all the ā€˜best Switch games’ lists seem to feature an abundance of Mario / PokĆ©mon / kids themed games, which I have no interest in.

Any recommendations for more adult themed games? I see Assassin’s Creed is on there which I’d have thought would be great, but it doesn’t seem to get mentioned much. Same for Bioshock. Do they get overlooked or are they not good on the Switch?

A medium list so far consists of:
Disco Elysium, Hollow Knight, Skyrim, Zelda: Breath of Wild and maybe Hades - but that’s just culled from a few reviews around.

Resident evil 4
Ahem

There’s a lot of great retro and stuff on the system, difficult to know if you’d like it. The quake remake is superb

Is the premise Transport Tycoon with swanky visuals or more Train Simulator?

Best go nowhere near it for a bit then!

I’m in deep.

I’m delighted (and a bit jealous). I’ve just got a fuckload on until at least the end of November so it needs to wait or I’ll be in trouble.
