Computer games and that

Started googling it, ended up down a rabbit hole of flight sim controls about 3 hours later.
That’s without me even playing the game :grimacing:

Doomed you are.

I wasn’t sure where to put this but it’s great;

You can never, ever go back. Games aren’t music and they aren’t books. Nostalgia is all they are and can ever be. Gran Turismo 2 is the greatest racing game of all time but the only way to maintain that belief is to never play it ever again.

Unless it’s Sniper Elite 3 & 4 - killing Nazis never ever gets boring. :grinning:

Dunno, I still play too much Street Fighter 2 etc.

I think that 2D stuff is different (and strategy stuff that was never GFX dependent in the first place). If you remember it being ‘real’ though, it absolutely won’t be now.

As an example, try playing Jet Force Gemini now without large amounts of rose tinting.

I suppose I haven’t really had a long enough break from it, the ps1 or dream cast gets dug out every few years and I still enjoy a lot of the games I did then. Far less patience with them though, much more rage quitting.

Many happy hours ragging around the streets of London in Metropolis Street Racer :+1:

Lawnmower races in the wet for full lolz. And I loved the way the reward for getting 40% through the game was a Peugeot 306.

Why do you need a simulator when you live there?

Great game

You should dig a tunnel to the shed.

A tunnel from the garage side door to the shed is a real possibility since they are only 8ft apart or so.

Nintendo 64 has been discovered in one of the moving boxes and a decent stash of games.

First up F Zero X and then I suspect Hel will want Banjo Kazooie on for a bit of 3D platform faff.
