I’ve been grinding a particular game for about a fortnight to get it to spawn a particular enemy, all to no avail. You have to kill these things to get the loot for the final buff on legendary gear.
Absolutely not a one of them has spawned.
I eventually Googled and found a lot of vague hints and one direct sequence of actions which I thought “no way this is going to wo… stone me it worked”.
Trivial I know but the relief is palpable. Now killing these things full time to clear the backlog of buffing I’ve built up.
Which game is that?
Horizon Forbidden West
I particularly enjoy the crafting aspect - harvest machines to buff your kit. But when the damned thing Just. Won’t. Spawn. it can be a bit frustrating ![]()
What do we think of Elden Ring please?
On paper it sounds like the kind of thing I’d enjoy.
I know a few folks who play it and absolutely love it - but it’s also fairly hard and quite unforgiving from what they’ve said.
How many hours of your life are you willing to write off? ![]()
I’ve had a quick play and decided that I just don’t have the time or inclination but I imagine if I was looking for a fairly involved fantasy RPG it would more than fit the bill.
Sounds perfect if he livestreams it!
This. Very good soundtrack too, so I’ve been told.
I loved it. DLC is fantastic too.
Do you like the Souls games?
Never tried them I’m afraid.
Ok. I loved Elden Ring but I love all of the Soulsborne games. So, ER was more (a lot more!) of something I liked ![]()
You’ll either bounce off it or get hooked and play all the other FromSoftware games hehe
The art direction is just something else in Elden Ring, it is stunning.
I have been playing Arc Raiders and having a blast despite not being one for online multiplayer in general- anyone else on here playing it?
I also impulse bought Ninja Gaiden 4 which is fun and looks pretty on the pro. I went back to KCD1 following the free PS5 upgrade - looks fantastic, keep ending up in jail.
Did you get it?
No, not yet at least.
For several reasons but the primary one is probably that I am cheap so I usually put games on my wishlist and then wait for them to pop up in the PlayStation perma-sale.
Wife was out last night so played 4 player splitscreen Quake II deathmatch with the kids. This is why I had 3 kids. Lots of fun and no one fell out.
Just secured a Lenovo Legion Go. Now I can sit on the sofa and play most of my Steam library in comfort. First up, Age of Empires II…
Yes!!!
Out now.
