Cornwall with 2 kids

Cycle the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow. Stop in Padstow for a look around and a spot of lunch before cycling back to Wadebridge again. Good way to beat the parking problems in Padstow.

Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in Watergate Bay is also good if you wanted to have a nice lunch with the family.

expensive and not that interesting - who wants to be wondering around a greenhouse on a hot day.

Lost Gardens are great. St Ives would be great if it wasnt for the crowds etc…

Mackerel fishing trips are fun

Good shout on the camel trail, bike hire isn’t that expensive and you do feel like you’ve earned your fish and chips in Padstein when you get there

I remember staying in padstow and walking on that camel trail . Lovely part of the world

I really like Fowey

Me too, i am always nagging the wife to go back there !

Thanks, rather belatedly, for all the tips.

As it turned out we stayed very close to Crackington Haven. Kids loved it, we loved it. Great waves for bodyboarding, lifeguard, rockpooling, nice cafe, great coffee, decent boozer

In the end we didn’t do a great deal else as everyone so was so damn happy
