Arrived this morning. 2 x Espressos, and a flat white so far…

Decent.

Veils lifted?

Dialling in the grind right now. Oh the knobfeel.

Debating whether to do the whole burr seasoning thing. I’d need to source 2-3kg of cast offs from a local roaster. Not sure I can be arsed. Think I’ll just let it happen naturally with the shots I’m making.

Nice to see that it is real.
Internet start ups can be dissapointing sometimes.
Any one want a DAC? :grinning:

Bloody hell, I just did the math! At my rate of espresso making, it’d take nearly 6 months.

Well put it this way, I have had a couple of espressos out of it right out of the box and despite being hopelessly too fine on the first one it’s already really good so I’ll probably not bother.

Very cool. Looking forward to sampling at some point!

I noticed little if any change in the P64 after chucking 1.5kg of junk beans through it.
Just enjoy.

Probably more burr specific than grinder specific

Yep.
What burrs are in the Zerno?

I’ve got the Cast v2s. They are supposed to be an all-rounder that can do espresso and pour over

I’m considering a burr change, been using the Aeropress more. The new offering from ioption is meant to be good for both.

Mizens would be solid for the P64

Getting good results from the Aeropress Andy? What’s your preferred recipe?

Yea I like it.
Inverted.
18g, a good stir and rest for 2 minutes and then a slow push.

It’s my go to morning brew so I’m not awake enough for faff.
