Covfaffe - the road to despair, calling at futility and disappointment

Yes, it’s good for one serving. Mine is on the shelf just looking at me, and I keep thinking Ill give it a whirl. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

Handily, it’s small enough to transport to a barn in Devon

I have one in the cupboard that I have never used.

What’s noise level and retention/static like?

Excellent on both counts. Possibly not quite as quiet with no beans in as a P64 but really good. Retention is top class, 0.1g and static is low - it has an ioniser built in. The designer is also continually designing the chute. He says there’s a new one on the way that will make the ioniser redundant.

I went through a phase of doing that, then got a bit bored and liked the variety of a different bag every week or so.
But if you dig it :grinning:

Haha I’m just coming to the end of that phase, variety needed

I can’t be arsed looking at the gazillions of varieties that are available, so apart from a handful of times, I’ve bought Square Mile Redbrick since I got the La Spaz, must be 16 years

Good news is they change the blend every couple of months, so I do actually do get a variety, and with experts doing the selecting/blending, I’m happy. :+1:

This is a pure banger in a cappuccino. The honey notes with the milk :fire:

I can’t really get past my local roaster at the moment. Actually on a farm on the ourskirts of the village! Great coffee and inexpensive. However, the continual drip-feed of Wendleboe exotica in this thread is giving me the wanties.

The sub is the way to go and you can turn it off/on as you want.

Will have a look…

I’m still loving Horsham coffee roasters, more because it’s 5 mins drive from mine so super easy. I usually end up having an espresso while chatting to the roaster before deciding on which one to get.

Although I do like a trip to Bond Street in Brighton every now and then, they now do a coffee flight  and always great cakes.
They were a Horsham coffee shop, but now do their own Black Rain coffee which is really nice and interesting small batch stuff.

Drinking that one at the moment.
Excellent!

I think at the moment I seem to keep getting the best cup on the last 20g so thought I would give a kilo a go. £20 for a kilo isn’t bad so I thought why not?

I suspect I will go back to a couple of different bags as I always seem to want to try something different.

Unusual for no Benson & Hedges top notes to be present.

Half decent Light Roast Decaf Beans…:potato:
Does such a thing exist?.. Genuine question, I often fancy a decent Aeropress brew after an evening meal but have feck all chance of sleep if I do it with normal beenz! :person_shrugging:t4:

B&h and mellowbirds, I remember the day my nan allowed me the grown up pleasure and still curse it to this day
