Yes, they do that too.
Did you see the āNativeā stuff there, Mark? Diego Bermudezās own brand. My mate bought me a bag of one of them. Going to try and not open it for a few weeks.
Yes, caught my eye.
Got so much coffee at the moment. I need to calm the fuck down.
I want to get to the stage where the line up gets to 7 weeks after roasting on the coffees Iām brewing at any one time. Was doing well until this period of work just gone. I was making 3 pots a day and it has devastated my stocks! You need to have quite a lot in hand to rest it that much.
Ha! I just happened to buy some Dak beans (āPink Floydā). Had never heard of them, but tried some in a coffee shop in Glasgow.
From Amsterdam, I thinkā¦
The ones I have are knockout. Really amazing for the money. Anaerobic/washed iirc, fruity clean, and light roasted. I shall be looking for more!
Dak are incredibly polarising. They do some absolutely mad shit and I must admit I can only enjoy them in small doses. Iāve had coffee from them thatās made me retch.
Haha, only tried this one, itās rather nice!
Cocobongo I think it was. Fucking terrible.
You called?
Iām thinking a title change may be in order!
This is what I got. Not tried it yet, because I didnāt actually need any more coffee. This wasnāt the bean they used for espresso in the cafe.
Ha! Maybe not a bad thing that I have more coffee than I need at the moment then
Right, new grinder time, as Iām selling my replacement Wilfa.
I drink exclusively filter/pour over, so for that, it seems like itās a pretty even call between the Lagom Mini 2 and Fellow Ode 2 w. SSP burrs. I have seen some say that the DF64 2 (w SSP burrs) is a step up from both of those, though Hoffman didnāt seem to think so in his multi test last year.
The above info is mostly gleaned from various Reddit threads/Hoffman vids. Just wondering if the learned gentlemen of this parish had any real world/reliable second hand experience to impart?
Yes yesā¦
Only took a couple of months!
Itās only due to the timely breaking of my Wilfa!
Iām leaning towards the Lagom though - quite like the thought of being able to take it away with me.
