That wasn’t aimed at you Graeme, I clicked on the wrong llink
I’m sorry to hear your news Kev. The vaccines have come quicker than we might have hoped. But still not quickly enough.

Sorry to hear your news Kevin. A couple more that I work with now in hospital but not ICU. Miriam’s besty off intubation after 3 weeks, a long recovery awaits, but some good news.
Awful for your colleague to lose her husband like that. Very sad thing to read.
So sad to hear this. My best wishes and condolences.
Wonderful, SA Covid variant found in Southport, let’s hope the testing and existing restrictions keep the numbers down
And still the airports are open 🤦
Received my letter today to book an appointment for the covid vaccination and expected a two to three week wait. Appointment booked for tomorrow at midday with the second dose in April, I’m well impressed with the speed and efficiency of the booking procedure, now all we need is a government to be as efficient in it’s strategy and all could be well.

Only 10 months since I posted this
Fake News. At your age you can’t remember what you did 10 minutes ago (unless the damp patch didn’t dry out really quickly) let along 10 months ago.
Meh!
Who typed that ?
Who typed what?
I like biscuits.
Just had my covid vaccine-Astra Zenica, very efficient administration and home within half an hour. Now as a truly confirmed wus, I can honestly say that it was nigh on painless and that the second dose holds no fear or trepidation for me. Downside, no I’ve been brave badges or lollipops available, feckin nhs.
Indeed, I was expecting an attractive nurse to hold my hand and ply me with tea & biscuits while I recovered from the trauma but no such luck. I blame funding cuts.
Have either of you found that you get better mobile reception yet?
I was told they were saving those for the under 65s. That’s the price you pay for blagging your way into the ‘crinklies/CTP’ tranche.
