Cranage show 21st /22 June

Bit of that in some Iranian mountains recently, possibly with the same actual effect to anything that matters.

Let’s hope they know what they’re doing then.

Presumably inspired by ORAC from Blake’s 7.

Can someone help me with fitting this to my tonearm?

Always loved the look of these. Do they sound any good?

Tricky getting the VTA right with that .

Wonder what the tracking weight is?

Cantilever looks off.

Still present more detail than an SPU.

Is extreme detail retrieval your thing?

Not necessarily, but for classical the existence of some detail is desirable.

They sounded pleasant. They seemed full in the bass region. They were using 3 Onkyo Icon amps.

I do like the look of them.

Someone should tell Karajan

That’s a question that has always interested me Matt. Detail retrieval is sometimes equated with over emphasis, especially at the higher frequencies, but it need not be so.

I want to hear everything in the recording (otherwise I’d feel short-changed ) but with no grain or over emphasis of any particular part of the frequency range.

Revealing but smooth is desirable - I think horns do this best :+1:
