Well that’s a big total to chase, especially in a semi final.
It did look like 200 was on, so at least we don’t have that. Decent start so far too.

They obviously think at 24 he has potential but now into his 25th test and averaging <27 they must call time on him soon. I’m all for giving players an extended run, even when they’re struggling, but the time comes when they have to back it up with results.
It’s not even like they can point to a great county average (<30) you really have to wonder how someone with such a mediocre record is selected to open for England in the first place?
