Cricket, lovely cricket (Part 1)

Since he came back into the side after the McCullum/Stokes appointments he’s averaging 40+ with the bat. That’s bloody good for a no 7.

I love this philosophy stokes and McCullum have brought in.
I mentioned why they couldn’t bring the 50 over attitude into test cricket years ago, but was met with because it’s totally different.

It reminds me of the attitude of Brazil football,we don’t care if you score 3,we are confident we will score 4.

So refreshing not to play for draws.Just wish I could watch it

Comprehensive victory, roll on Wellington.

When Bazball first started I thought Anderson and Broad might struggle to fit in. How wrong I was, they look five years younger.

How many more wickets would they have now if we had adopted Bazball years ago ?

Stokes said he had sent text messages to the bowlers to check on their fitness before the Friday start (22:00 GMT Thursday) and that all three had been encouraged by the green colour of the Basin Reserve pitch.

Might be a good toss to win!

We didn’t win it

Could be 130-2 or 80-7 at lunch :man_shrugging:

Quite remarkable!
