I watched some of it (last 40 overs) on my iPad at work. Much to the chagrin of my South Asian colleagues.
Just starting to watch some of the BBL. Unlike a lot of the locals from the look of the empty seats.
Iām not sure itās completely done yet, but it looks like TNT will show the upcoming India v England series.
Good.
Only issue is the 4am starts
I think a deal was always going to be done, suspect theyāve just been playing a game of dares to get the best deal.
Whilst I wholeheartedly welcome this (he should never have been dropped in the Summer IMO) I do wonder if it would have happened had Brook not had to return home.
3 specialist spinners (plus Root, of course) and Mark Wood. Intriguing!
Bit of a change from the Graeme Hick tour.
Iām worried we may injure Woody.
Looking forward to seeing how the young spinners go and great to see Foakes playing.
Well thatās always an issue given his record but if he doesnāt rock up for this series what are we saving him for? West Indies and Sri Lanka visits in the summer?
I guess itās a forlorn hope that the home side will prepare pitches that arenāt ragging square by lunch on the first day.
Letās see what happens after the first test. If the unlikely happens and we manage to beat them on a turning pitch I can see them having a change of heart.
It isnāt as if Indiaās seam bowlers are mugs though, even with Shami out.
It will be fun watching England try. I love Stokesā captaincy with the spinners!
Worth a read, he makes a decent fist of outlining why this tour is the toughest gig in world cricket
Not sure I can drag myself out of the pit for the 4am start but I reckon I can probably manage it by the start of the post lunch session
I have to be up early in the morning. Not quite early enough for the toss, but early. I now have more incentive!
I changed my mind!
4.1 overs 25-0
9 overs in and England going along at near 5 an over, India have spin on at both ends. Ball turning!
