It doesn’t look promising but who knows, even 90-120 minutes of play on Sunday might be enough
The Aussies are broken and England are champing at the bit. I don’t think England could have done much more than they did today, it was another astonishing display.
My 5p is going on England to win at The Oval. Whether that means a series draw or an England win is down to the weather. Stokes/McCullum are good but even they can’t control that.
Reckon they should give Moeen a little spell here, need to break this partnership and he might just tempt one of them into a mistake. Marsh is bound to go after him.
Are Australia going to try and actually win this one? If Cummins wins the toss is he going to have a clue what to do? I hope it’s an absolute road so we can witness moar evisceration. #seething
Winning the toss hasn’t had much impact so far. Cummins has been coming in for a lot of stick back home for his captaincy, particularly the last test.
I hope England can maintain the intensity of the last two matches to win “the decider”.
Saw the headline here, and my immediate assumption was it was a Brit with sour grapes. Slightly surprised to discover this came from an Aussie commentator. Thoughts?
