England women running away with their opening match of the T20 World Cup.
Can’t unsee the Super Mario outfits though.

Yep, all very comprehensive. They just need to not go out on the lash in Birmingham tonight now.
Great comment on the Guardian OBO ![]()
I said it was a shame Stokesy wasn’t playing. My wife asked ‘Isn’t he the bloke with all the tattoos, why’s he not playing?’ I said because he went to a nightclub a week last Monday. She said ‘He can’t still be hungover’.
Meanwhile, that was a great effort from Ireland (as with Scotland yesterday).
The exit door is warming up for bazball.
Well played New Zealand, out played England in all departments. I enjoyed watching Blundell, I wish England could pick a proper keeper.
Awesome performance by Matt Henry. With the keeper up and that nagging line and length on a good pitch, he was pretty amazing.
Horrible performance from England, who with the board seem to have backed themselves into a corner. Ridiculous, really.
Just on the park they have been crap. That period when they lost control when bowling, after the discipline on the first day, seemed to start a momentum shift that couldn’t be reversed. The batting is shit and until they sort it out they aren’t going to win may games.

Well that was was all a waste of time!
All to play for in the 3rd and deciding Test.
Gate take increases, and every one’s a winner ![]()
Excellent game India v SA WT20WC
SA scraped it in the last over.
Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi struck a remarkable 11-ball 50 for India A, breaking the record for the fastest half-century in the history of List A 50-over cricket.
The 15-year-old’s latest remarkable feat came for India A against Sri Lanka A as he made 94 off 29 balls in a total of 377-9, a knock that included 10 fours and eight sixes.
He faced just one dot ball in his fifty and hit five fours and five sixes from the other 10 balls to bring up the landmark.
Surely he must play in their First XI in the upcoming series, I for one can’t wait!
Trent Bridge will be interesting, England need a decent performance. If we lose then surely Key and possibly Mccullum will be history.
It seems they expected Stokes to resign, but with no plan for a successor.
England look amateurish compared to a decent outfit like New Zealand.
P4 W4 for England women.
Now qualified for semi final of WT20WC
NZ are 100 before lunch without loss. About as good as it gets in test cricket.
Christ
Lovely and cool down in our basement watching it though. ![]()
Poor fuckers playing all day in this
Not far to go.
Highest ever opening partnership score versus England is 338.
Reckon the NZ openers will put up with the heat to beat that!
ooops!
