Lovely looking room now Paul :+1:

Thanks Allan. I’ve still got to get rid of the pink carpet and replace a couple of the double glazing panes which have blown and are a bit cloudy. Other than that it’s finished and I really couldn’t be happier. It’s come together better than I could have hoped for.

Soooo, are these things worth much? Asking for a friend.

My unit cost £325 which is actually a pretty decent price compared to most on ebay. Mine is a free-standing unit rather than wall mounted. That price includes two of their tallest ladders with adjustable feet, two shelves, the record cabinet and six shelf supports.

My mum has 4 of the ladders, a few shelves and a couple of sliding door cupboards.

I’ll make sure they don’t get skipped when she croaks…

Wise decision. They’re definitely worth a few bob.

Might have to straighten a couple of the rungs where I used to climb up them when I was a little twat…

There was also the version (as owned by the MiL) that had the teak rather than metal verticals.

I guess there were some prospective customers that found the metal version too modern/industrial in appearance?

I like the teak; that’s funky.

I appear to have acquired this light :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s absolutely gorgeous. There’s a couple of similar Guzzini lights for sale up here. Check out the prices. :grinning:

my parents had similar when we were living in Dalston. Went in the skip when they moved us all out to Edgware.

Pre-stained, nicotine yellow-brown for that authentic vibe :+1:

I’d like a Guzzini Brumbury for the desk but ££££

The price of that Ladderax makes me hopeful I’ll be able to buy all the Ulysse Nardin when I move my Ikea Besta on in a few decades time
