Lovely looking room now Paul
Thanks Allan. Iāve still got to get rid of the pink carpet and replace a couple of the double glazing panes which have blown and are a bit cloudy. Other than that itās finished and I really couldnāt be happier. Itās come together better than I could have hoped for.
Soooo, are these things worth much? Asking for a friend.
My unit cost £325 which is actually a pretty decent price compared to most on ebay. Mine is a free-standing unit rather than wall mounted. That price includes two of their tallest ladders with adjustable feet, two shelves, the record cabinet and six shelf supports.
My mum has 4 of the ladders, a few shelves and a couple of sliding door cupboards.
Iāll make sure they donāt get skipped when she croaksā¦
Wise decision. Theyāre definitely worth a few bob.
Might have to straighten a couple of the rungs where I used to climb up them when I was a little twatā¦
Blow-up, great film.
There was also the version (as owned by the MiL) that had the teak rather than metal verticals.
I guess there were some prospective customers that found the metal version too modern/industrial in appearance?
I like the teak; thatās funky.
Thatās absolutely gorgeous. Thereās a couple of similar Guzzini lights for sale up here. Check out the prices.
my parents had similar when we were living in Dalston. Went in the skip when they moved us all out to Edgware.
Pre-stained, nicotine yellow-brown for that authentic vibe
Iād like a Guzzini Brumbury for the desk but ££££
Next time your dad pisses you off, show him the prices on ebay. ![]()
that wouldnt bother him -
The price of that Ladderax makes me hopeful Iāll be able to buy all the Ulysse Nardin when I move my Ikea Besta on in a few decades time
