Sorry about the crappy phone pic.

Anne bought these wooden slatted lamps from a charity shop on ebay for peanuts yonks ago - since I finally got my arse in gear and decorated we dug them out for the dining room and stuck a couple of edison bulbs in them.

Amazing what some cheap lamps can do.

A better pic of the lamp.

The lower wattage edison bulbs do give off a similar glow to valves they are brilliant.

You need another one to hide the bare bulb hanging from the ceiling. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

That’s another story - I do have a new shade for it but when I removed the cover on the old fitting the wiring looks like a dogs dinner so I hastily put it back on. :grinning:

I recently picked up a rather nice mid century chest of drawers for the hall. I do like a nice bit of French walnut.

A job lot of this was delivered to the outbuilding this morning -

Enough 2m ladders to fit 4 bays, plenty of shallow shelves, 3 full depth shelves, one nice drop down cabinet, one bureau, and another narrow drop down cabinet.

Now on the hunt for 3 record cabinets and 3 glass cabinets…

They’re fantastic, Stu,
would love to know more,
Where did you find them?

They were on twitter just as art nouveau doors, but no other info.
Love the first one.
