Wouldnât dare comment from a design/taste point of view, but having a piece of furniture that is obstructing about a third of the width of an already fairly narrow corridor is risky, in the event of a fire and power cut.

Place I lived on the outskirts of London sold almost identical beds as that.
You could buy the same size mini fridge in the same finish. They cost an absolute fortune in the late 70s early 80s.
