Wonder if they would take £5 for it.

I suspect it would more like ‘take £5m’

I’m going to get the same in the hallway when I can afford it.

Found a company that does reclaimed ones so they have the aged look and patina. Hallway is 6’ 4" wide by 18ft and full of light so should look cool.

Nice.

When I first tried to get a quote to restore this one the salesman said they would just dig it out with a shovel and put it in the skip, then lay some lovely tongue and groove…

Works well in California, would be weird in Runcorn.

Never understood the concept
Seems to assume that people want to talk to each other.

Needs taller cushions. Leaning back would have your lower shoulders resting on that sharp 90deg edge.

Not sure it’s designed to sit for long, it’s just a space where the wife swappers meet.

And the central table is too far away from the seats to function as a drinks / snacks support. You’d have to stand up to reach anything. Bit crap imo

I know which of the above parties the younger me would prefer…

Now it would be snacks :disappointed:

You’ll be relieved that its unlikely that tired middle aged misanthropes who need snack inducements would be invited in the first place

Its pretty self selecting.

But it would be great for running ferret races around it :+1:

Trumptastic. I like the bog standard seat and lid sprayed gold.
