Yes that’s why I said ‘overall’. I wouldn’t pick the rug, the wall paint colour, nor some of the soft furnishings like cushions and blankets. But the overall feel of the room is pretty ![]()

The first and last time I stayed in the Adelphi the entire room smelled like one giant urinal. That was around ten years ago so things may have improved.
After buying a sofa in a Black Friday sale I acquired an addiction to seats. I’ve spent hours since looking at various seats until I bought the below, which I’m classing as a Christmas present to myself (first time for everything).
On the way to me now. Love it.
Managed to get an Ercol 398 coffee table for £100, it’s a bit tatty but considering they normally go for £400+ it’s a bargain.
Needs some work but plan is to strip it back and change it to the paler blonde version, like this
I’ve got one of those in the garage, suppose I should pull my finger out and sell it.
