Looks like the handsome little fella’s settling well :ok_hand:

Here, I’ve just installed a portable air-con in the kitchen for the doggos.

Rest of the house is an oven, mind!

I am amazed that the doggos put up with the fashion accessories.
My old border collie would have fucked off hats and glasses etc instantly.
She didn’t much like a collar and escaped it regularly.

Rex posing …hes a handsome lad

What’s he like with people in general? I know the standard-issue ratter-JRs are a right mixed bag, but the Parsons I know nowt about.

fantastic, he says hello to everyone and has never snapped or barked at anyone.

He’s the same with other dogs though, has never even growled at another dog. He’s very persistent though, is able to pester the most resistant dogs into playing with him

He is 30% English springer though so not pure Parsons

Cool. Reactive dogs are an arseache for sure. I’d never guess there was Springer there to look at him. Crackin’ looking little chap all said :ok_hand:

proper heinz 57, there’s 18 breeds in there (60% terriers, 30% spaniels and 10% pug) and think he was from a puppy farm.

I often get asked if he’s a beagle or a staffy cross

Feeding my mate’s dogs while he’s away for 10 days. Only 11 of them this time, they’ve taken 3 of the Spaniels with them. 5 Spanners, 6 working Border Collies and a ‘retired’ working dog.

Their first day away and I get a call to say that his neighbour has rang him to say 3 of his dogs are roaming around the area (2 Spanners and the retired Collie)

So, off I go and get the 2 Spanners back in the byre without too much effort but the Collie wasn’t having any of it. Took me an hour to coax him back into captivity.

There was a small broken plank on the byre door which they had chewed away at until they made a hole big enough to squeeze through - I’ve blocked that escape route now!

All fed and watered now, hopefully things will run a little smoother for the next 9 days…
