Boris, Trump, Putin - No rational person would place them in positions of power but when the media legitimize the irrational and ‘rationalize it’ you get a misinformed, misbelieving public. Truth it seems is rather important.

I have a feeling that none of this is going to go anywhere and Trump’s delaying tactics will work.
Everything being gambled on him winning the election in which case it will all go away
Even liquidating assets over the bond failure is unlikely to happen any time soon
Worrying poll numbers for Trump. Even though he’s running unopposed in the primaries, candidates that have dropped out are still receiving votes.
More worrying is the 18-20% of Republican voters in exit polls who said they will vote for Biden or stay home in November
Beginning to look like he’s going to get trounced again. Do the Republicans finally figure out that Trump/MAGA weirdos are not electable?
A couple of Republican Congessmen have quit in recent weeks, and rumor is several more will follow them. Their departures have been timed so that there will be no Special Election to fill their seats. As Congress stands now the Republicans can’t have one vote against party lines or they lose. If more Republicans quit (as has been hinted) the Democrats regain control of Congress until November.
The breaking point for the departing Republicans was the idiotic Biden impeachment inquiry, which just exposed what incompetent hacks the MAGA wing of the party are

The US has gone through a tough time with the energy/cost of living crisis, true they seemed to have weathered it better than most, but a lot seem to remember record gas prices and think they never had these under Trump and blame Biden.
One thing that is well understood by political campaign managers is that a lot of voters only seem able to retain one fact. The aim is to make sure that they remember the fact that you are pushing.

The loss of abortion rights, fertility treatment and if the Republicans get their way contraception is going to be a huge issue, women are going to be a deciding factor.
