As far as I can see the ends of the Lexus do not seem to be tinned where they go into the choccie blocks. That means you are clamping onto insulated cables. Seen this before, sounds better when properly tinned. Probably why they are up for sale

Just to set the frequency response straight the -6dB figure doesn’t relate to the lower frequency quoted in reality. Measured in the HiFi Critic test in room the -6dB point is at around 30Hz. Certainly they aren’t bass monsters but set up in room they have decent bass, some might find the need for a sub but that would depend on personal preference.

They are supposed to be very good. At £12K I would definity consider buying them, but not that price.

Been for sale for over a year and had loads of watchers. It gets relisted lots.
