looks similar to an early pcb psu I rebuilt recently, so it may be single phase or split phase, cant tell without looking inside

its a Helius arm, but it isnāt part of the sale
it also has a very very early version of the psu, so it will be a very early deck, and much more expensive than a later unit currently in Bungay
Anybody any thoughts on Pathos amps ?
I like all of their stuff Iāve heard I think, including the speakers.
Read a scathing review of the pathos logos years ago and frightened me off forever x
Fantastic looking kit. The reviews Iāve read have been good. Thumbs up from me in principle.
Nick (myrman) tried a Logos and it was good but just a bit āniceā sounding.
Given how beautiful the case work is I wonder how much of the budget goes on the inside.

The cheapest 65" oled Iāve seen by some margin. No HDR but it has Dolby vision. A good buy. Tempted.

I have had two Pathos amps. I really wanted to like them but they were just too polite for my taste. The Pathos specifically was quite a disappointment but as the internet is awash with great reviews itās an easy amp to move on.

I wouldnāt. I have a toshiba tv and I wouldnāt buy another. The Software is crap. Slow, buggy and Iāve had to reinstall it 2 or 3 times

Reviews said the software was annoying. Plus high dynamic range is pretty important. Iād pretty much decided against it. My plasma is plenty good enough. Itās just a bit chunky. Iāll wait until it expires.

Odd looking thing. Are there only 4 valves ? And are they all 6AS7Gs ? If not (i.e. two are small-signal/drivers) then theyāre squeezing 8W out of one 6AS7G in each channel and Iām not sure thatās possible in Class A is it ? If all the valves are power valves then the 8W should be within reach, but now they need to find a great big drive signal from somewhere. Maybe an input transformer ? That could explain the 3.3kohm (yes, really, it seems) input impedance. Choose your pre-amp very carefully !
