As someone posted on the sale thread
“Nobody makes 3mm pink tint acrylic sheet anymore. The ‘glue’ that holds the pieces together will fail from UV and if you use it the rear panel will very quickly split at the hinges. I’d carefully wrap it up and put it under the spare room bed.”
Should be safe with @coco then!

Every so often at work we looked at sourcing cast acrylic. That used to be available in quite small amounts. Maybe they could do pink too ? It wasn’t quite as optically uniform as the regular extruded stuff, but it had lower residual stress so was more stable when machined.
It is also possible to solvent weld it, in which case there wouldn’t really be any ‘glue’ in the joints.
