It’s no different to people who used to keep ‘Fun money’ money in PayPal. The biggest dump eBay ever took was attempting to mirror Amazon - Think Pepsi vs Coke. eBay was once the great ‘car boot in the sky’. It was a place to win, discover, get ripped off etc, it had a USP.
This was also it’s public perception. Shifting from this and attempting to, ‘go respectable’ and now reporting to HMRC really limits private sellers in auctions, many of which have got used to Depop / vinted / FB marketplace etc. eBay can in no way can compete with Amazon Prime’s 24hr delivery or market perception for convenient ‘buy it now’ purchases.
A friend turns 2-3 million PA on eBay. He gets a direct concierge manager at eBay, incentives, much lower fees and much higher coverage than the average small business seller. The platform is heavily stacked against the little man now. The side hustle on all but Facebook market place is choked out so now they want to keep what money is generated in a cyclical sell / keep / spend funnel. It also offers loans which increasing trap sellers into the platform.
Stronzi’s latest side hustle is for once paying it’s way. Not sure if I should have posted here or Proud moments thread? (See completed listings, he’s quite versatile)
"I through it was 8 days to complete the spell but she said to me it was 5 days and never sent me the article on what is happening with the spell she said to remove everything that causes evil eye jealous eye so I’m should be good I hope she get back to me explain to me I’m getting more positive and be positive "
Friend of mine once took an adventure trek holiday across the western Sahara. They ended up somewhere on the Gulf of Guinea coast, in a place that claims to have the largest market for voodoo supplies and services in west Africa.
Among the many hundreds of stalls were tents housing witch doctors. We’re not talking amateurs here. These people could provide a comprehensive cursing service for anyone you didn’t like. Health, love-life, business success, you name it. They said that if you had something physical - nail clippings, hair, maybe even a used handkerchief - then that would help a lot. But even without that they were confident they could get the job done. They were expensive by local standards but not too bad if you were on a European tourist budget, and anyway the holiday was all but over so here was a chance to spend the last of your local currency. I believe he shelled out £30 or so to get our head of department professionally worked over .
I fear that if only it worked there would have been a few people I’d come across who would have woken up the following morning with Plasticine genitalia …
More prosaically (though by the look of them, they are pretty mage-friendly…), if anyone fancies dipping a toe into the oxymoronic pond of affordable SET monobloc ownership, then Elite Audio are currently offering a pair of Dared 845s for £999! 12 months warranty, too.
