@Mrs_Maureen_OPinion didnât Sam used to have a pair of these? They seem incredibly cheap. ÂŁ10k new back in the early 2000s

Yes mate, she did. They were pretty good, too - slightly disjointed bass, but unlike a lot of A-P speakers of the time quite forgiving and easy to listen to. Absolutely beautifully constructed, too: the whole front panel was solid timber, not veneered MDF.
Those are silly-cheap

Excellent, it will of course have to go to Coco for enhancements. Basically will involve adding 100lbs of iron.

Idea is to have a listen to a Tokin SIT and see how that compares to Sony.

I read the ad and didnât understand much of it until he got to the asking price. I gathered that itâs a power amp with SIT transistors. The rest was complete gobbledygook to me. Am I thick or was it a terrible ad?

Yep, it weighs nowhere near enough to even sound adequate 
Fortunately I understood enough to conclude it will go very nicely will the horns, as well as offering some potential options for the future.
