This has to be a bit of a bargain on PFM ..it’s near me so if anyone is interested I can pick up for you and take to Jim’s in Jan

The irony! I read somewhere that Guy R Fountain stated that Tannoy was a loudspeaker builder and not a furniture maker!

Unusual on this side of the pond.

Hunting for Altec CD’s if anyone has any lying around…

What could possibly go wrong?

Reduced size bass cabinets. Wohnraumfreundlich? Lightweights…

Are you an owner of West Ham? Do you find gold Rolexes a bit plain? Does your ideal decor scheme make the current Oval Office look like a hermit’s cave? If you can answer yes to any of these questions then here is your CD player.

Never heard of this contraption or the manufacurer. I should probably step away from the internet for a little while for my own protection.

I like the look of it.

Same.

£900 is a lot for an unknown 30ish year old cdp, even if it has valves and bling. Still like it.

Be nicer in chrome

It appears that some mad fucker bought that thing. Anyone here?

Would suit, say, someone living in the NW with valve friendly speakers like Hecos…

Something for you corner horn boys?
I like the comment “you will need approval from your wife”

Can somebody please convince me not to buy this,

I don’t have a streaming component at the moment and don’t really know what I’m looking at.

I’m not going to get int downloads, probably just Apple Music.

It’s using an old DAC (PCM1796) but is still in use as it is cheap and and sounds good.

TBH £250 is a no brainer as you could probably sell it on for £300+ if you don’t like it.

The thing that keeps me away from branded streamers is the app/UI is rarely very good.
