eBay stuff (Part 2)

Slagles are around £900 imported as unfinished or £1600 imported for the finished ones.

Ouch. They used to be $400 or $500 when I last bought them, but that was always for the bare transformers without screening cans. Those will add a chunk to the cost.

Don’t look at the EMIA ones then :scream:

How are they different from the finished ones you mention above?

Afaik they are the same? (Transformer wise)

Yep, Still Dave’s transformers but have the Jeffrey Jackson posh case rather than Dave’s own cases on intact.

I think the emia ones just look nicer.

I have a pair of EMIAs (1:10) that I can lend out. @crimsondonkey has them at the moment. (Along with EMIA phono and autoformer volume control)

Is that the LR phono? Jeffrey gave me a quote for one of those when they started making them and it was a smidge eye watering.

I though it is LCR, but might be wrong. I confess I haven’t looked inside :rofl::rofl:

This one, looking at the price now I think I was offered a bargain price :flushed:

The one he offered me was a single box, wooden cheeked protoype unit though.

Yeah that looks like the one. You’re welcome to a loan of it after Wayne is done with it.

Holy shit yeah, can imagine that sounds fantastic.

several years ago I rebuilt one of the later versions with the Silk transformers, NEVER.AGAIN

it sounded nice mind you, best when driven from a very low impedance source

I had a Promitheus TVC Pre - It had a spaghetti of wires inside.

They pasta signal around.
