I nearly bought a Stingray I think. They had put it together much later from old parts they’d found lying around.

They promise 40W RMS out of four EL84s. Their manual for this amp mentions a 400V HT supply (p8, here). I’d be a bit concerned about those numbers …

Eventually I will have enough murdered hifi to weld it all together into a primitive cave-like shelter and live inside it, safe from the ravening zombie hordes that will be roaming the post-apocalyptic wastelands.

Why do old KEFs get highlighted on here so much? Has anyone actually heard them? They’re as slow as Harbeths dumped into treacle and given a huge spliff to get over the experience. Just no.
