Used to have a pair of these, nice drivers, but tricky to use.

I have one of these, ÂŁ7K+ new, really nice amp, not felt the need to change it in the system I use it. Works with any speakers I have tried (about 10 pairs).
The only issue I have had with it is that it is funny about DC on your mains, so I use a DC blocker with mine or the transformer hums.
Matching pre, also great.

Odd choice to build the J a Monoblock, only using one heat sink in each case, twice the cost for no benefit.
