Really enjoyed this- first track reminded me of Tangerine Dream.

I listened to this last night and loved it, sounded interesting from Resident Adviser reviews- scrolled back up this thread and saw you recommended it. Is there anything else similar you’d recommend?

I like that Guten Tag compilation a lot as well, listening to it now.

Did I recommend this one ? It’s a belter some tremendous tracks on it

I love this - it’s a much more laid back drone ambient

This is a classic but again more towards the drone ambient

For long ambient goodness you can’t beat a bit of Celer and he is a very prolific artist although very much all in a simialr vein

Two excellent playlists

My mate sends me some great playlists as well

Hopefully you’ll find something you like among that lot :grinning:

I picked up the State Azure back catalogue from Bandcamp when he did a special early on in the CV-19 lockdown #1. Bloody good stuff.

Yeah he’s so consistent… I’ve yet to hear a duff tune. Just beautiful, all of it.

Kern Vol. 3 mixed by Objekt.

Only ever available as a single continuous track, so here it’s classified as a track not an album and is £1.66

Worth a watch if you’re an Orbital fan.

After a good bit of poking around it looks like those two have fully disappeared.

However most of Slater’s material from that era has been scooped up by A-TON (see elsewhere for his relationship with Ostgut Ton etc.) as Chronicles I, II, III

or the mega box-set of all three.

The 3 LP box set is €70 :grimacing: and digital is €21 direct from Bandcamp.

However it’s £10.99 from Boomkat

https://boomkat.com/products/chronicles-i-iii

And then, if you’re a sort of sad nerd like me you can split it back up into I, II and III and snaffle the correct artwork from Bandcamp - that’s usually 1200*1200 if you right-click, copy.

Hey, it’s a lockdown. It’s pretty boring.

It turns out that you’d be undoing the minimal changes someone has made at the other end - all the tracks are already numbers 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2 - they’ve just changed the album title.

Took a bit of unpicking in MusicBee.

This kind of stuff is the closest thing to a musical guilty pleasure for me :stuck_out_tongue: the

“Oh God he’s on the synths again”

Link here for a Hard Wax mix, that was on Darko’s site, I don’t think there is long left for the free download so be quick if interested.
