Favorite tonearm with a detachable headshell

So what is your favorite tonearm with a detachable headshell. Just interested. Life would be so much easier if I had one.

On the understanding that I am far, far too poor to ever own one this is one of the best arms I’ve experienced full stop. At a fractionally more terrestrial level, I enjoyed the new ‘post Jelco’ Ortofon when I had a brief go too.

I like my Jelco 750D …seems well made not much fafferry …easy to set up when switching carts …I guess it’s the Halfords professional socket set. Does the job and more without the snap-on stupid money.

As to sound quality…would need to check with someone with proper ears.

Has anyone use the Dynovector DV505 or 507 in the past?

I heard one on an Acutus years ago. Whole combo sounded excellent but I can’t tell you which bit was responsible for what though. It looks cool as fuck too.

Had one a decade or so ago and took it to scalford.
Took a while to get used to using, but lovely built thing
Should have kept it and the 301. Also the 64s that was the first arm I had around 1983

Does @Ruprecht and @Tons_of_fun or anyone else here have any experience with the budget end of the range ie the MH-9B or 10B. The financial jump to the MH-900s is a leap too far for me.

I have an FR64s surplus to requirements, and an Orsonics AV-101b headshell

Have sent you a PM Simon.
