Long shot,but has anyone got an rca to 4 pin din as used on quad from a 34/44 pre to a 303 power.

The 33 to 303 makes no noise,but the 34 to 303 has like a loudish earth type hum,so wondering if it’s just a faulty cable I have

Forget all that,it was down to the power cable I cobbled together
The 3 pin female kettle lead to the 3 pin bulgin lead in the 303.
