I have pretty much finished this off today - Minor snagging left to do such as fitting dowels in the holes made for fixings for the skirting board.
The click to fit engineering wood flooring at £ 29 a metre I used was fantastic quality and fairly easy to fit. Claire is very pleased and now wants two or three other rooms doing.

Yes, I made the mistake of being good at stuff like that with my Claire. Now she offers my services out, gratis, to family and friends. I don’t even get benefits in kind , like Jim Dandy did…
