Seemed to work against Burnley.
Cracking game, this.
Woodburn scores and at 17y 45d becomes Liverpoolâs youngest ever goalscorer beating Michael Owenâs record by 100 days.
Hopefully the start of a great Anfield career.
Good to see a young player given a chance.
I see he has played for Under 19s in Wales, will be a race to sign him up.

Man City have overtaken Spurs as the biggest bottlers in football. League title is all over now imo.
Good game great result! But we were a touch fortunate because City missed some sitters.
shittyâŠmeh - couldnât even do us a favour
Tough questions for Guardiola to answer now. Questions like âShould I lob ÂŁ100m or ÂŁ200m at this problem in January?ââŠ
Wonât matter how much he spends - Chelsea and Conte have that Fergie type winning mentality. I expect Liverpool to drop points tomorrow so Paddy Power might as well pay out now.
Haha, you must be skint this season given how many games Liverpool have won.
Havenât been laying them most weeks but have tomorrow, and backed Bournemouth for the win.
If they do, Iâm gonna ban you for being such a twat ![]()
Feel free - Iâll just apply for the Wigwam video reviewer job instead.
City were unlucky with some of the refereeing decisions in the first half, and shouldâve been 2-0 up⊠Anyhow letâs see how the rest of the day pans outâŠ
Pep Guardiola - An apology
Along with many other newspapers , weâd like to apologise to our readers for giving the impression that Senor Guardiola was the messiah. That with innovative training methods and tactics he was transforming Manchester City and the Premier League into the new powerhouse of world football. Headlines such as âGive them the trophy nowâ, âPep, artist & visionaryâ and âNavas the worldbeaterâ may have lent weight to ideas of a glorious serene procession to the title and European Cup success. We now concede that such predictions were hopelessly premature, that Guardiola doesnât have a magic wand and in fact is finding life in a league with more than one competing team a little more challenging. Again, we apologise for any confusion caused.
JosĂ©: itâs going great.
