A 30cm cone type unit using KDU cone paper manufactured by Kurt Muller is used for the low range. The cone paper is a new cone paper that has reconsidered internal loss, increasing the beauty of the tone.
We pursue better sound quality by adopting a conical dome that prevents split vibration and a newly designed magnetic circuit with low distortion.
The unit is protected by a perforated metal cover.
Soft dome-shaped 7.5cm and 3cm units are used for the midrange and high range.
After conducting hundreds of experiments, we have completely improved everything from the dome base fabric to the molding method and the material of the viscoelastic coating agent.
The magnetic circuit has also been strengthened, improving linearity and input resistance.
For the cabinet, we experimented and measured more than a dozen different unit arrangements in order to achieve clean wavefront transmission without interference near the crossover frequency, and after adjusting the positional relationship down to the millimeter, we improved sound field reproducibility and sound image localization. For this reason, we have adopted a symmetrical arrangement for the left and right channels.
In addition, the front baffle uses a lumber core made from Douglas fir, a coniferous forest from North America, to bring out the good resonance of solid wood.
A sound bar with a concave R is added to the rear baffle to apply tension to the plate and improve vibration damping characteristics.
