Free Android podcast app recommendations

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good free Android podcast app, which have a good range of podcasts and let you download them for later playback.

I’ve heard Pocket Casts recommended a few times but that’s pay for. Just wondering if there are good free ones. Most of what I’ve checked out have poor interfaces.

Actually on this topic, anyone follow some interesting podcasts worth sharing?

IF you like folk music, there’s the entire Mike Harding Folk Show podcast archive to download. He’s recently stopped making them, but there’s enough funds to keep them online until next September.

I’ve learnt loads about folk music since I started listening to them.
