A Hitchcock soundtrack would bring him back

Such a great album that one

Natalie Merchant singing Birds and Ships off the same album would also be on the list.

Saw a co op sign today pulled over quickly to get a drink for the road. Walked back up the road and it was a co op funeral services. Then just saw this thread. Hopefully it’s not some sort of sign

The entire congregation will have passed by the end of the first song.

I have similar but have set up a playlist. The closing tune is a 10 minute version of Shine a Light by Spiritualized off the Blue on Blue collection.

Similar, mine is the full unedited version of Shine on You Crazy Diamond: Parts 1-9.

You need ti add a clause that forces people to sit next to family members they don’t get on with to get the full effect.

Opening and closing the lid between each movement might get a bit odd.

I’ve borrowed Billy Conolly’s idea of having my ashes thrown in the eyes of politicians.

And for songs:

Barnes & Barnes: ‘Fish Heads - because it is the acme of musical perfection
The Dickies: '*Banana Splits (Tra La La Song)*’ - 'cos Sam & I went down the wedding aisle to it
Peter Bellamy: ‘Oh Death - because it’s fucking horrifying, as death should be
Oscar Brown Jr.: ‘The Tree & Me’ - because it’s sublime, as life should be

We’ve done all our wills and funeral planning, serious shit but feels it needs to be done.

Plenty of music I’d like, and sure there would be more but something between me and the Wife, and shared with my also with my Twin Brother is the Detectorists Theme by Johnny Flynn. Short and sweet.

Always loads of other songs I’d like but at the end of the day, nothing else matters.

Too many sleepless nights thinking about it and at that point I would not be here so fuck it.
