You know it’s cold when you are nearly touching metric
Form is temporary, class is permanent
Great old time playoff football, loved it.
Was always going to be tough for Miami missing so many key defensive players. This was a perfect encapsulation of the Dolphins season, they beat up shit teams but folded whenever they came up against quality opponents
There does seem to be an attitude issue with the Dolphins, not stepping up when needed. You were totally right about the weather affecting them more, as well. The Chiefs wanted it more, in all phases of the game.
Anyway now you know why I picked the Texans, CJ Stroud could turn out to be quite something. I’m not sure they have the depth to win this year, but nobody will want to play them.
Poor from the fish.
Chiefs were good enough to win but not convincing as SB contenders
They’re certainly not the Chiefs of the past that could light up the scoreboard at will. But they’re very good defensively and Isiah Pacheco is a beast of a running back. Both these things count for a lot in the playoffs
The problem for the Chiefs is that they have had to pay Mahomes so much that they had to let Hill go, and can’t reinvest enough. So Mahomes gets the money, sure, but he doesn’t get another ring.
I guess saying that taking a bit less cash for yourself now to bring greater success and happiness marks me as not American?
There’s more straight up mercenaries in the game now agreed, but there are still individuals that buy into a team culture or want to play for a particular coaching staff
Torn here; on one hand getting to see the Packers get destroyed, on the other hand it’s the fucking Cowboys
Wow, it’s a funny old game. Cowboys asleep on their feet so far, looking a bit shit on both sides of the ball
Bit surprised, the Cowboys have been shit on the road but really strong at home this season
That was some drive!
Brief clip shown of Dallas owner Jerry Jones after that. All the rage
Top offence in the league and a top 5 defence. Shocking
Prescott getting frustrated
Fuck knows what he is doing now!
Lots of time left, but hard to see a way back for Dallas the way things are going
Just shows that it is form coming into the play offs (and players on IR) that count more than anything done in the season
Dallas get the ball back at the beginning of the 2nd half, if they can do something on that drive maybe the games back on
As was mentioned on UK TV the Jags were 27 - down, scored a TD just before the end of the half and came back to win against the Chargers last year
