I see the Jets have sacked their Head Coach, Robert Salah.
Got me thinking as to how much money the Jets have invested in Aaron Rodgers and whether he is worth the money , or preventing investment elsewhere.
Russell Wilson didn’t do the Broncos any favours either.
In fact apart from when Brady went to the Buccs I can’t think offhand of an instance where this has worked out for the team getting a QB at the end of his career.
The Buccs are still paying for Brady under the 2024 deferred cap, but I guess a SB win in the asset column looks pretty good.
Kinda saw that one coming, the “look” was a “you just got me fired you fuck” look. There’s those suggesting Roger’s threw that interception on purpose, there was certainly no reason to throw that pass. The Jets had lots of time on the clock and 3 timeouts left, and he decides to force that throw ? 
Also reports that Rogers was engaged in locker room politics to get Saleh ousted. Believable, Aaron’s a bit of a prick

He had some self deprecating jokes his last broadcast, that his producers obviously asked him to read, and try to sound human and likeable

We get the same commentary feed from Fox, CBS or whoveer is calling the live game. We don’t have any choice, on game, Sky have the early and 9.00 game with the US game commentary and their own UK based studio experts, mainly because they cut to the studio when the US go to commercial breaks,

I’ve expressed doubts about him in this thread before, and he’s done nothing to make me a believer. He’s too injury prone, and his brain has been jarred too many times. Also, he’s greatly talented with a cannon arm, but has zero game sense. How many times does he kill Dolphins drives/momentum with bad interceptions on forced throws.
He’s never going to be “the Man” for a team with serious Super Bowl aspirations. Not even a great backup. Just another one of those head scratching “might have beens” that this game seems to produce so often
A lot of the ex-player commenters have friends in management and coaching at all the teams. They don’t hide their bias sometimes, but I’m OK as long as it doesn’t get maudlin 
Bills@Jets game is good so far. Fucko is having a good game at QB, Jets offence is clicking.
Related - The Jets 60s throwback uniforms they’re wearing for this game (all white with green trim) are nice. One of the best throwbacks in the league, one of the nicest uniforms period 
Small margins, one turnover effectively decides the game.
Loads of missed kicks though, in previous weeks kickers weren’t missing anything and it seemed like 60yd FGs were going to become the new normal
