Lock looked comfortable at QB.. Really, on a good team it’s a lot easier for the backup to step in. Very good offensive line to protect him, and plenty of weapons at his disposal. If all else fails Kupp can always get himself open

Indeed. If you have to take on the favourites for the Superbowl, the best time surely is in week 1, when no teams really have their game sorted, and in Australia where half the players will be jet lagged.

Niners were in Australia since the 4th for that reason. They ran practices there and the players spent a lot of time out meeting the locals to build up good will.
There were a lot of questions about the Niners defence going in to the season. If Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw stay healthy the whole season (big if) that’s not going to be a problem, they terrorized the Rams offence.
The atmosphere was wonderful, great success for the league I would say. The NFL wants team(s) based in Australia badly.
They were all very involved 
Purdy spent the off season studying game film of his rookie season and working with the coaching staff because he wants to get his “mechanics” back to that state. Seemed to work
Evans and Robinson both caught TD passes so those look like good roster additions. And the new boy Kaelon Black rushed for 65 yards in his debut

Started watching Bengals-Bucs but looks a bit one sided, so switched to Bills-Texans just in time to see the Josh Allen TD

I watched that thinking that it might be a new start for the Vikings, with their new QB completing their offence. But he threw an interception with his first pass and got injured so Wentz come on in the first quarter and did really well.
Justin Jefferson… Please let this man play with a top tier QB…

Chiefs looked very good against the Broncos.
Walker has transferred to new team really well and the Chiefs now have serious running game options.
Yeah Walker had an amazing game, what a start for him there!
I had largely written off the Chiefs as Mahomes was fairly poor last year, Kelce was meant to be retiring and ultimately, their game has been rather unbalanced. They still have some holes in their squad, but if their stars step up, they are a force to be reckoned with.

The game was over by half time, but the Lions had a much better second half.
St. Brown still looks a class act but the Bills basically shut down the Lions running game.
The Bills are odd, they can beat anyone on their day but then they lose games for no reason. Their offence either steamrollers or struggles, no in between.
